2Renderings & tech pack
Day 1-2We build or digitise the tech pack and, for ODM projects, produce renderings in your colours so you approve the look before anything is cut.

3Materials & strike-off

4Pattern & sewing

5Inspection & photos
Day 7-8QC measures the sample against the tech pack, cycles the zippers and load-tests the straps. You receive a full photo set before the courier leaves.

When it arrives
How to evaluate a bag sample like an inspector
Ten minutes with a tape measure and a loaded bag will tell you more than a month of emails.
Measure it
Tape every dimension against the tech pack. 1 cm off on a sample is 1 cm off on 5,000 bags.
Load it
Fill it, wear it for a day, drop it from waist height. Check strap anchors and bottom corners afterwards.
Inspect the stitching
8-10 stitches per inch on 600D, bartacks at every anchor, straight even seams, no raw edges inside.
Photograph it
Front, back, side, interior and every logo. With your written approval these photos become the bulk inspection standard.

Sample-to-bulk drift is the most common complaint about Chinese bag factories. It happens when the sample is made by a specialist on a bench and bulk by whoever is available.
